Really hope a different venue is picked for future competitions.
So not only was I dealing with a very negative child, I had to simultaneously deal with an illogical employee. There is no path or walkway to get from the kids areas around the pool/rooms/event center to the cinemas/food/outdoor shops next door without walking through the gaming area. So kids sit eat and watch gaming all day. Important to note the food court is in full view of gambling activity. Because kids aren’t supposed to ‘watch gaming.’ The suggestion was a moving along to the casino food court where we could stand or sit. Was walking on a path next to the casino floor with my kids, one of which was in the middle of her style meltdown which is a lot of negativity and attitude.Īs I was talking to her, a security I guard told me I needed to keep moving out of the ‘gaming area’ suggesting stopping to parent my children could be wait. Might be true if all of Vegas but employees here were pretty rude addressing me and my kids considering they were hosting a youth event. All together not a horrible place, a bit smoky, with some really weird rules around minors. Decent pool, not a convenient location for doing anything else. Unfortunately had to come here for a kids dance competition.
